Moksha Class (60, 75, or 90 min) - The Moksha class is a dynamic system of 40
postures specifically designed to be practiced in the heat. Moksha classes are intended to open, strengthen
and detoxify the entire body. Both standing and seated poses are practiced and classes are suitable for
all levels of experience.
Hot Fusion (60, 75, or 90 min) - This class will be different each time, giving you the opportunity to try new postures and sequences while still maintaining a level of familiarity to encourage focus and concentration.
Moksha Flow (60, 75 or 90 min)
The regular Moksha series is joined together with viyasa's. This class flows from one posture to the next, challenging your strength, while working with your breath. Beginners welcome.
Friday Funk- (75 min) This high energy, dynamic yoga class is a perfect way to kick start your weekend! Practice to an exciting mix of various music, artists and beats!
Restorative Yin – (90 mins) Yin yoga is a system of yoga designed to literally open the body, peeling away layers of tension, stress and injury that reside within. A gentle approach is used to stretch the body, using longer holds to get beyond the muscle tissue into the connective tissue, the fascia of the body. It is a great compliment to your regular practice.
Community – (60 mins) A regular Moksha class lead by a new teacher. Free only for students that hold unlimited passes, otherwise cost is $5.00.
Karma class -(75 mins) A regular Moksha or Moksha Mix class offered on a donation ($5 min) basis. Funds raised go to local charities. (No passes).
Explorations in Pranayama and Meditation (90 mins)
Commonly translated as the breath, the sanskrit word 'prana' is better thought of as a life giving force or energy which exists beyond the breath. Whereas 'prana' is the vital life force, pranayama - the fourth limb of Patanjali's eight fold path - is the 'practice by which the storehouse of this internal prana is increased.' In this class students explore basic techniques in breathing and meditation to draw awareness to this subtle energy body. This class is a great way for long and short-term practitioners alike to expand and deepen their approach to both the asana and the overall practice. While classes will differ in approach, students can generally expect some gentle asana routine, along with extended breath work and longer periods sitting in meditation.
