about Us

You're going to love it here! MYC is an urban sanctuary located within the heart of southeast Calgary. Our desire is to create an energizing space in which you can experience radiant health and a calm mind, through the practice of hot yoga. We are passionate about creating a centre where everyone feels welcome. We embrace diversity, so whether you are a seasoned yogi, or have never practiced in your life, MYC is for you! At Moksha, we are passionate about people and our planet. We believe yoga is more than postures; it is fun community of individuals, dedicated to living well, having fun and fostering environmental stewardship.

So, if you want a healthy body and clear mind, come sweat with us!

Moksha Yoga Calgary is a member of a group of independent hot yoga studios committed to ethical, compassionate and environmentally conscious living. Collectively we strive to communicate that the benefits of yoga are limitless and accessible to all.

This family has evolved and flourished with the ideas, hard work and support of every Moksha studio owner, Moksha Yoga teacher and most importantly through a community of devoted students working on bettering the world on a subtle level - one sweaty yoga class at a time!

MYC is Bullfrog powered! We’re proud to have eco-conscious hearts at Moksha Yoga Calgary. As part of our commitment to the planet and future generations, Bullfrog ensures Green power is being generated on behalf of us. Choosing green power is a practical and meaningful way for us to reduce our carbon footprint. We’re thrilled to have the opportunity to make a difference by supporting renewable energy!

At MYC, our studio is built upon compassion. At the core of our philosophy is a dedication to make a difference in our community. Together with United Way, we endeavor to change and affect the lives of Calgarians, in meaningful and tangible ways.

Our vision and purpose is rooted in the belief that

-       Children and youth should have a chance to grow up great,

-       People should have the means to move out of poverty,

-       Strong and supportive neighborhoods must be built.
